Mathematics Teacher Academy

Join us for this summer's Mathematics Teacher Academy, focusing on transforming problem-solving and thinking through asset-based teaching. The Academy will include 3 days of university-level professional development for mathematics teachers in grades 5-12, centering on strategies for supporting problem-solving and productive struggle and practices to identify and build on student strengths. In addition to the summer academy, participants will attend 2 virtual follow-up sessions during the following school year. Participants will receive instructional resources for technology and manipulative-based activities, a t-shirt, and daily lunch and snacks.
