Join us at Coker Methodist Church as we explore what is means to lead and provide pastor care in a culture marked by hurry, anxiety, and constant change. Together, we will consider how leaders can adapt their approaches to leadership and pastoral care while remaining deeply rooted in a resilient theological framework. Slow Theology invites us to resist the pressure to always move faster and instead cultivate practices of attentiveness, depth, presence, and discernment--allowing our theology to shape not only what we believe, but how we lead and care for others.

Come ready to be renewed through worship that centers us on God's presence and restores our hearts for service. Throughout our time together, we will enjoy meaningful fellowship—reconnecting with longtime friends and forming new relationships that will encourage you long after the conference ends.

Throughout the gathering, breakout session will provide opportunities to go deeper into the themes of slow theology and theological resilience. These conversations will explore practical ways to lead with greater presence, care for congregations amid anxiety and uncertainty, nurture resilient faith, and create sustainable rhythms for ministry. Whether you are navigating the demands of pastoral leadership, caring for people in difficult seasons, or simply seeking a healthier and more grounded approach to ministry, the breakouts will offer practical insight, meaningful conversation, and space for reflection.
